JNJMosaic continues the search for Sacred Connection and Silent Strength following Cersaie 2026.

On the morning of September 26, 2026, the JNJMosaic team returned to the Cersaie exhibition venue in Bologna, Italy, to dismantle the stand and collect the exhibits. Upon arrival, they discovered that two mosaic artworks—Sacred Connection and Silent Strength—were missing from their display locations.

Based on the information currently available, the two works are believed to have disappeared between the evening of September 25 and the morning of September 26. The incident was reported to the Italian police, and relevant records were submitted to the exhibition organizer and other parties involved. The matter remains under investigation.

For JNJMosaic, the loss goes beyond the commercial value of the two exhibits. Each artwork embodies a distinct artistic vision, emotional meaning, and material beauty, while reflecting the time and care devoted to its creation.

Sacred Connection: Trust and Companionship

Measuring approximately 100 × 180 cm, Sacred Connection depicts two horses standing closely together, their faces gently overlapping and their noses almost touching.

Their lowered eyes and intimate posture create a quiet moment of trust. Pale blue tones give the composition a dreamlike atmosphere, while touches of gold add warmth and dignity.

The work is not simply a portrayal of two horses. It is an exploration of connection—the bond between parent and child, the intimacy of partners, the loyalty of trusted companions, or the reconciliation of a person with their inner self.

Rather than expressing strength through movement or physical power, Sacred Connection presents strength through closeness, comfort, and mutual support.

The image is brought to life through numerous pieces of glass mosaic. Seen from a distance, they come together as a complete and expressive scene; viewed closely, each piece retains its own shape, texture, and presence. This relationship between the individual pieces and the whole reflects the meaning of the work itself: separate elements gaining strength through connection.

Silent Strength: Quiet Resilience

Measuring approximately 100 × 160 cm, Silent Strength features the face of a grey elephant emerging from a deep black background.

The restrained composition directs attention to the elephant’s broad ear, curved tusk, textured skin, and calm gaze. Across many cultures, elephants are associated with wisdom, loyalty, memory, protection, and strength. Their great physical presence is balanced by patience, sensitivity, and strong social bonds.

This balance gives the artwork its name.

Silent Strength is not about force or aggression. It represents a quieter and more enduring form of resilience—the ability to remain steady and composed in uncertain circumstances.

The title has taken on additional meaning since the disappearance of the work. JNJMosaic continues to cooperate with the investigation while safeguarding the documented identity and provenance of both artworks.

Together, the two works form a dialogue between connection and strength: one speaks of the relationships that support us, while the other reflects the resilience we carry within.

The Enduring Value of Mosaic Art

Sacred Connection and Silent Strength are handcrafted glass mosaic artworks rather than printed images or mass-produced decorative panels. Their creation combines artistic vision, material knowledge, skilled handwork, and many hours of care.

Each work carries distinctive characteristics in its dimensions, colors, materials, and handcrafted details. These features, together with preserved records of the creation process and the finished works, can help identify the missing pieces and confirm their provenance.

Sacred Connection expresses trust and companionship through two horses resting closely together, while Silent Strength uses the calm presence of an elephant to convey resilience and inner strength.

Although the physical works have disappeared from the exhibition hall, their artistic meaning and documented history remain. Wherever they may now be, their identities and connection to JNJMosaic have not changed.

An Appeal for Information

JNJMosaic respects the ongoing police investigation and will not circulate unverified claims or speculate about who may be responsible.

We respectfully ask galleries, designers, collectors, logistics providers, warehouse operators, art dealers, resellers, and members of the public to remain alert. If either artwork appears through a dealer, resale platform, private transaction, transportation channel, storage facility, or any other setting, please contact JNJMosaic or the appropriate local authorities.

Sacred Connection is about connection. Silent Strength is about resilience. These ideas now also express our response to this incident: we value the relationship between an artwork, its creators, and its audience, and we will continue searching with quiet determination.

The two works may have left the exhibition hall, but their handcrafted character, documented provenance, and artistic identity have not disappeared.

We remain committed to bringing Sacred Connection and Silent Strength home.
