A First Look at JNJMosaic’s New Collections for CERSAIE 2026

Bologna Is Just Days Away

CERSAIE 2026 is almost here. From 21 to 25 September, JNJMosaic will return to Bologna, Italy, with a new exploration of mosaic art, materials, and contemporary space.

Following the announcement of our exhibition concept, “Capturing Nature in Space,” we are pleased to offer a first look at selected new creations prepared for this year’s event. Inspired by the relationship between nature and the built environment, the presentation explores how light, reflection, texture, and colour can turn mosaic into an immersive spatial language.

This preview reveals only part of what awaits in Bologna. More artistic works, surface collections, materials, and finishes will be presented at Hall 36, Stand C28-D27.

Artistic Mosaic: Nature Told by Hand

At the heart of the presentation is a new selection of Artistic Mosaics.

Composed piece by piece, these works bring together colour, material, craftsmanship, and narrative. Instead of simply reproducing natural forms, each design interprets a particular emotion, movement, or atmosphere—allowing mosaic to move beyond decoration and become an expressive part of architecture.

Whispers Among Flowers

Whispers Among Flowers captures the quiet beauty of a garden in bloom. Blue and white flowers unfold across the composition as a turquoise butterfly appears among them, bringing a delicate sense of movement to the scene.

The contrast between soft botanical forms and precisely arranged mosaic pieces gives the artwork both visual richness and emotional lightness. Designed for refined interiors, it transforms a wall into a poetic encounter with nature.

Sacred Connection

A mare and her foal stand at the centre of Sacred Connection, their flowing white manes and restrained golden accents creating an image of trust, protection, and companionship.

Through the careful placement of individual pieces, the composition conveys both the physical presence of the horses and the emotional bond between them. It demonstrates how large-scale artistic mosaic can give a space not only visual impact, but also narrative meaning.

Where Light Falls

Inspired by the atmospheric qualities of traditional ink-wash painting, Where Light Falls is shaped by layered blue gradients and subtle golden highlights.

Rather than presenting a literal landscape, the artwork evokes changing light, distant forms, and a sense of quiet depth. Its colours and reflective details shift with the surrounding environment, allowing the surface to reveal different expressions throughout the day.

Light becomes colour, and colour becomes atmosphere.

Woven in Silver

Woven in Silver introduces a more geometric and architectural perspective. Interlocking silver forms and gradual tonal transitions create a surface that appears structured yet fluid.

Hand-cut details give the composition rhythm and precision, while its reflective qualities allow it to respond continuously to light and movement. The result is an abstract artwork that bridges mosaic craftsmanship and contemporary interior design.

Further artistic works will also be presented in Bologna. Silent Strength uses a monochrome elephant composition to convey resilience and calm presence, while Boundless Nature explores organic movement through flowing forms and soft natural tones.

Together, these works reveal different ways of experiencing nature—from its quietest details to its most powerful forms.

New Surface Possibilities in Conventional Mosaic

Alongside the Artistic Mosaic collection, JNJMosaic will introduce new conventional mosaic surfaces developed for contemporary residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.

The exhibition selection includes hot-melt pressed glass in square, diamond, elongated, and geometric formats. Silver, iridescent, and reflective finishes interact with changing light, bringing depth and movement to bathrooms, kitchens, vanity areas, and feature walls.

Ultra-clear crystal mosaics explore textures inspired by bark and rock. Pearl, silver, blue, and green effects enrich the surfaces, translating the irregular beauty of nature into versatile architectural applications.

New full-body glazed-stone mosaics will also be presented in a variety of scales and shapes. Enhanced with subtle golden details, these collections combine decorative richness with the flexibility required for both residential and commercial interiors.

Rather than competing with the narrative character of the artistic works, these surface collections extend the same theme into repeatable and adaptable design solutions.

From Artwork to Architectural Surface

Whether expressed through a hand-cut artwork or an architectural surface, every JNJMosaic creation begins with material and becomes part of the way a space is experienced.

Artistic mosaics transform walls into visual narratives, while conventional collections introduce rhythm, tactility, reflection, and colour across broader applications. Together, they demonstrate the brand’s ability to move between bespoke artistic expression and practical surface solutions.

This balance of craftsmanship, material exploration, customisation, and project application lies at the centre of JNJMosaic’s presentation for CERSAIE 2026.
