CERSAIE 2026 is officially underway in Bologna, Italy. From 21 to 25 September, JNJMosaic welcomes architects, interior designers, distributors and project partners to Hall 36, Stand C28–D27 for an immersive exploration of mosaic art, material and contemporary space.
Presented under the theme “Capturing Nature in Space,” the JNJMosaic booth reveals how colour, light, texture and craftsmanship can transform mosaic from a surface finish into an expressive spatial language.
At the centre of this experience is one artwork that makes the reason to visit immediately clear: Crimson Bloom, a large-scale composition of red poppies that commands attention from the moment visitors approach the booth.
The Must-See Artwork: Crimson Bloom
Installed prominently at the booth entrance, Crimson Bloom creates a striking first impression through saturated colour, dramatic scale and finely controlled detail.
Layered red poppies fill the entire composition. With no conventional landscape or background to create visual distance, the flowers become a world of their own. Translucent petals, shifting crimson tones and dark textured centres draw the eye across the artwork, transforming botanical beauty into an intense meditation on passion, vitality and fragility.
From a distance, the 1,100 × 2,400 mm composition reads as a bold contemporary artwork. Step closer and its construction gradually reveals itself: individual pieces have been precisely hand-cut and assembled to capture the folds of the petals and the subtle variations of colour and depth within the flowers.
This difference between seeing and experiencing is exactly why Crimson Bloom is worth visiting in person. A photograph can show its composition, but only a face-to-face encounter can communicate its scale, surface texture, reflections and physical presence. As visitors move around the piece, changing light reveals new tones and details that a screen cannot reproduce.

Nature, Interpreted Piece by Piece
Crimson Bloom is the starting point of a broader journey through nature at the JNJMosaic booth. Across the presentation, botanical forms, radiant light, flowing organic lines and animals are translated into distinctive mosaic expressions.
Golden Nocturne presents another interpretation of the floral world. Saturated cobalt-blue poppies unfold across a textured golden ground, accompanied by pale blossoms and deep foliage. The contrast between blue and gold produces an immediate sense of luxury, while changes in scale and diagonal movement give the composition a contemporary rhythm. It is particularly suited to hotel lobbies, bars, upscale commercial interiors and other spaces that call for an expressive focal point.
Two additional works explore nature through rhythm, light and abstraction.
Born of Light uses repeating golden fan-shaped sunbursts, fine radiating lines and a subtle diamond framework to create a sense of upward movement. Its ivory and champagne-gold palette feels warm and luminous, while the mirrored forms recall flowers opening, plants reaching towards the sun or the splendour of a peacock display.
The composition is structured, but never mechanical. Variations in the lines and their softly fading ends introduce the character of hand drawing or gilding. Viewed in person, the fine golden details interact with the surrounding light, bringing depth and visual rhythm to the surface. The result is an expression of understated luxury that feels both architectural and poetic.
Beside it, Boundless Nature takes a more fluid approach. Its hand-cut lines move freely across the surface, forming layered organic curves without a clear beginning or end. Soft greens suggest growth, tranquillity and healing; ivory and pale pink bring tenderness; and slender golden lines appear like veins of light running through the composition.
Rather than following symmetry or rigid geometric order, Boundless Nature creates an immersive visual flow. The interwoven curves evoke the rhythms of life, natural energy and limitless possibility, guiding the eye continuously through the artwork. Together, Born of Light and Boundless Nature demonstrate two contrasting ways of interpreting nature: one through radiant structure and repetition, the other through freedom, movement and organic continuity.
The presentation also explores the emotional presence of animals. Sacred Connection depicts a mare and foal standing together in quiet harmony. Their lowered heads, flowing white manes, blue-grey textures and carefully placed golden accents express companionship, protection and trust. The work demonstrates how individual mosaic pieces can communicate not only physical detail, but also tenderness and narrative meaning.
In Silent Strength, a monochrome elephant emerges against a deep charcoal background. The restrained composition focuses attention on the animal’s gentle gaze, broad ear and curved tusk. Strength and tenderness coexist within the image, turning the elephant into a timeless symbol of wisdom, loyalty and resilience.
Together, these works capture nature without merely copying it. They interpret its moods: the intensity of a flower in bloom, the radiance of light, the freedom of organic movement, the bond between two animals and the quiet dignity of a solitary figure.
New Surfaces for Contemporary Spaces
Beyond the artistic mosaics, visitors can explore new conventional mosaic collections created for residential, hospitality and commercial environments.
The exhibition includes hot-melt pressed glass in square, diamond, elongated and geometric formats, as well as silver, iridescent and reflective finishes that respond dynamically to changing light. Ultra-clear crystal mosaics draw inspiration from the textures of bark and rock, while pearl, blue, green and metallic effects introduce depth to walls and architectural features.
New full-body glazed-stone mosaics expand the range further through varied shapes, scales and subtle golden details. These adaptable collections translate the exhibition’s nature-inspired theme into practical surface solutions for bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pools, spas, vanity areas and feature walls.
Visitors can compare colours under real lighting, examine gloss and texture at close range, and see how different pieces interact across a larger surface—details that are difficult to evaluate through catalogues or digital images alone.
