U·CITY

U·CITY project is located in the west of Qiandeng Lake Park, Guicheng City, Nanhai City, Foshan, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of nearly 26 mu, with a total construction area of about 70,000 square meters. It is a comprehensive commercial complex focusing on “art” and “nature”.

The project design includes 8 unique sky gardens, 20-story global vertical dining, 270 degree panoramic sightseeing, Foshan’s first neo-Baroque auditorium, new concept children’s experience center and other characteristic areas, which is a crystal of east and West art. This project invited one of the three European contemporary designers Bo R ek ipek (Bo Rek Cipac) to build, the three main buildings using butterfly, sea cliff and crystal elements, artistic DNA into every detail of the project, fully show “artistic life, life art”.

The Mosaic work “Butterfly Memory” reorganizes and strengthens the viewer’s impression of the space through the rich color changes and exquisite craft expression of the glass Mosaic, and forms a unique sensory memory of the indoor place through a new visual and tactile experience.

The Mosaic works on the exterior wall of the commercial building echo the architectural appearance. JNJ Mosaic craft team uses the sieve plate process to promote the form and constant dynamic change of the butterfly from illusory to affirmative, from generalization to realism step by step, symbolizing the origin of life from accumulation, birth, transformation to sublimation and positive spirit of endeavor. The commercial building stands in the bustling commercial area, looking at the distance, the beautiful discovery of nature is thriving, full of vitality and signs of flourishing life.

Close to the commercial buildings, the rainbow staircase full of dream vitality makes people’s eyes bright, different colors of mosaics constitute a colorful waterfall, flowing rainbow color, as if you are in a European fairy tale town.
