The theme of the lobby background is based on the unique geographical environment, human history and other aspects of Hangzhou, highlighting the beautiful nature and human accumulation. The “lotus”, one of the four flowers that Hangzhou people must appreciate every year, is selected as an element (in order: plum blossom, peach blossom, lotus, osmanthus), and is fixed on the lobby background wall of the hotel with the exquisite skills of mosaic art inlay, so that every distinguished guest does not need to go boating on the West Lake to experience the obscurity and etherealness of the letter written by the wife of King Qian Liu of Wuyue when she returned home, “The flowers are blooming on the road, you can return slowly”, if you have the leisure time, just invite three or five relatives and friends or stay in the hotel with your loved one, and appreciate it slowly, which is a kind of happiness.

The JNJ mosaic brand design team uses lotus as a material and combines it with an abstract composition form and mosaic art inlay technology, reducing the complexity and redundancy of lotus petals. The form summary after stretching, deformation and simplification is steadily inlaid under the tall and narrow corridor ceiling with arc-divided composition, accompanied by the “herringbone” solid wood ridge and simple nut lighting in swaying and singing. The overall design clearly symbolizes – full of luxurious and rich blues, noble, cool but not vulgar. When you look up and gaze and think deeply, the lotus blooms in a brand new posture, creating a beautiful legend and practicing the cultural responsibility and lofty mission of JNJ mosaic brand designers.
